Cherry Tree Cottage Orford - Self Catering Accommodation
Cherry Tree Cottage is situated on a private track on the outskirts of Orford in a peaceful setting with views over to the castle from the front garden and from the back garden towards Sudbourne Park. This simple white painted single storey Edwardian cottage was originally built for farm workers in the early 1900's - the tall ceilings giving the cottage a very airy spacious feeling. A few minutes walk across the fields brings you to the centre of Orford with its pubs, restaurants and local shops. Parking is not a problem as the cottage has its own drive.
From the front door you enter into a small hall which leads into the living room. This room is in two parts; the front being great for reading or listening to music - the rear having an open fireplace, the TV and a CD/radio. Newly fitted kitchen/diner is fully equipped with dishwasher, electric hob and oven, microwave, and washer/dryer and a door opening to the rear garden with seating area.
There are two bedrooms; one with large double bed and the second with twin adult size beds, a bathroom with bath and shower over and a separate cloakroom.
Table and chairs are provided both in the front and rear gardens so you can catch the morning sun in the front for your coffee and croissants and the sun in the afternoon in the rear garden for an aperitif or a nice cup of tea!
The cottage is warm and cosy with modern oil-fired central heating. Everything is included electricity, oil, logs, fluffy towels, bed linen and toiletries. On arrival you will find some essentials for the first night including tea, coffee, milk, sugar, wine and bread.
We welcome caring dog owners to this cottage and ask them to respect the grounds by clearing up after their dogs.
