"Brownies" Orford - Self Catering Accommodation
Large panoramic windows at first floor level afford stunning views across to the River Ore and the Ness beyond.
Two French windows and a stable door open onto a sunny secluded paved patio at the front of the cottage. At one end is the kitchen/dining area with fitted cupboards, built-in fridge and dishwasher, and a range style electric cooker.
At the other, separated by the original brick chimney is the living area with wood burning stove, comfortable seating, Freesat TV, video and DVD player. There is a ground floor cloakroom and lobby for coats and boots, and a washer/dryer cleverly concealed behind a secret opening bookcase!
Wooden stairs lead up to the open plan first floor with panoramic views to the river and beyond. Large double bed at one end with a sitting/dressing area and en-suite bathroom for relaxing while listening to some mellow music on the hi-fi system.
The cottage has oil central heating and lots of wood for the stove so you are sure to be warm and cosy whatever the weather; and if it’s sunny you can sit on the patio and soak up the rays.
Everything is included: oil, electricity and wood, bed linen, fluffy towels and toiletries. On arrival you will find a selection of some of our favourite local produce and a few essentials for the first night.
This cottage now has free Wi-Fi Internet access and an iPod docking station.
We welcome caring dog owners to this cottage and ask them to respect the grounds by clearing up after their pet.
