Thyme Cottage - Sudbourne Self Catering Accommodation
Thyme Cottage is situated in Sudbourne on a quiet road about 2 miles outside Orford. From the windows you can watch the hares gambol in the fields and the deer herd strolling past, leave the cottage and you are immediately on a leafy path into Sudbourne forest - a truly tranquil place to stay ....
Enter into the utility room with washer/dryer and plenty of room for wet coats, boots and dog. The large kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, and electric cooker - and a large wood burning stove. There is a CD/radio with iPod docking station so you can bring your own tunes. A door leads into a cosy living room with large open fire, huge comfy sofa, flatscreen TV with Freesat and a DVD player. Wooden stairs from the living room lead upstairs to one twin bedroom and one bedroom with a king size double bed and a bathroom with shower over the bath.
The cottage is well heated with electric wall hung radiators, stove and open fire, electricity and wood for the fires is included. A travel cot is available. Free Wi-Fi internet access is now available at this cottage.
All linen and towels are included - also basic essentials such as tea, coffee, condiments, sugar, rice, pasta, and a selection of herbs and spices - the garden which is situated a little further down the path has fresh herbs and is a good sheltered spot to sit out.
We welcome caring dog owners to this cottage and ask them to respect the grounds by clearing up after their pet.
